As said right in the next paragraph, our instinct is to delay a terrible thing that is about to happen. But is it worth it? No. It’s better to deal with it now and get it over with, so you can have peace of mind instead of worrying about it at the back of your mind.

@nitinkhanna Tinnitus, something I am dealing with as well as graves eyes disease, has no “off” switch. The “noise” never ends. I was someone who appreciates quiet/silence. Now I don’t have it.
@khurtwilliams I’m really sorry to hear that! My mom has tinnitus and it is painful for her. Luckily she was able to get an operation which helped manage it. I didn’t know about the eye disease. Sorry to hear about it…
